Directions:

We are located at entry point 30 of the BWCAW- Superior National Forest - just 22 miles east of Ely on Fernberg Road.  The map below gives you driving directions to Ely's Chamber of Commerce, which is located at 1600 East Sheridan Street.  From there continue to drive east 22 miles until you reach Kawishiwi Lodge and Lake One Canoe Outfitters.  We are the last LEFT before you reach the public access.  You will see a sign on your left - "Kawishiwi Lodge & Outfitters" or "Lake One Canoe Rentals".  This road will lead you to your wilderness adventure!  To arrive at the lodge office, stay to your right past the parking lot.

We are a Cooperator with the USDA Forest Service under the Superior National Forest. We issue permits into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW),
part of the National Wilderness Preservation System. To preserve the wilderness, visitors to the BWCAW must follow certain regulations.
